A puppet is an inanimate object, capable of communicating and becoming functional thanks to the life given to it by the hand that handles it.
In turn, through the language of movement, the puppet can transform into a useful dramatic and educational tool.
WORKSHOP OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF FOAM PUPPETS
This workshop aims for each participant to be able to:
Manufacture a puppet from foam carving.
Build the necessary joints for the movement of the figure.
Cover the entire body of the puppet with elastic fabric, choosing the appropriate colors and textures for the transformation of the character.
Characterize the character and accentuate its features using acrylic and fabric paints, as well as other accessories, etc.
Develop their own discourse through the basic notions required for puppet manipulation, such as synchronization, expression, voice, rhythm, and interaction with the audience.

WORKSHOP OF CREATION OF CHARACTERS IN SHEEP WOOL
Felt (sheep wool fiber) is a material that offers endless possibilities for creation.
It is very resistant, washable, natural, and easy to shape. In this course, you will learn to work with two techniques:
Dry Technique: Using a special needle, you can shape the character and elaborate the details.
Wet Technique: Felting with water and soap, you will work textures to create its suit and accessories.
With this introduction, you can make a table puppet, a glove puppet, or a finger puppet as well as pieces of scenography, textures or objects of applied art.
